Maybe it was the material the actors were given. The ones that stood out to me the most were SC and DMS. Not to mention, that awkward dance number DMS’s sister performed in front of SC.Acting wise, I think overall it was pretty mediocre. The whole wedding plan scene was so cringey and weird. I agree with you on most of the parts □ I never cared for Meizuo’s romance and always skipped those scenes.i felt the show became so draggy by ep 30 + us, the ending was anti climatic for me so I didn’t even finish the last episode lol. I might need to be spoiled to see if I want to continue it or not lol I liked Shancai's fashion in the beginning, but then it just got weird?Īlso, she fucking air kicked Daoming Si so hard that he passes out, but then when she's being bullied or threatened, SHE DOESN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING? LIKE? FiGHT GIRL MY GOD!!! Although I did hate his signature 'pineapple' hair. I do like the actors used for Huaze Lei (he's handsome and cute at the same time lol) and Daoming Si. SMH SMHĪnd the whole love triangle thing. You won't believe how damn pissed when I saw this. YOU CAN'T BE ANGRY WITH HIM WHEN YOU NEVER LET HIM KNOW. OF COURSE, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET ANYWHERE MY FUCKING GOD SHANCAI. When she sees Daoming Si dating that other girl and kiss him, she sheds some tears and fucking denies her feelings. When did she ever say that she likes him? I'm not even caught up, yet since I'm not sure if I want to continue it. I can understand that she feels pressured to like him because of this, but she clearly has feelings for him. Of course, she hates you? Like c'mon man, how dense can you be? But as his character began to develop and change, I began to really love him and cheer him on? He fucking saved her life so many times it's not even funny at this point. I really disliked Daoming Si at first, since he kept forcing himself on her, and bullying her. However, Shancai as a person really started to aggravate me as I kept on going. I have mixed feelings about this drama? I love the main actor she's not a fucking twig and super cute. oh well, crossing my fingers in the many upcoming episodes.Įdit: Does anyone else fast forward whenever Meizuo and Caina scenes come up? I need to know what happened between SC and DMS!! Also, there were some episodes where about a 20min scene was repeated from the previous episodes. P.S I know I shouldn't expect much from rookie actors but I really wish the kiss scenes would be longer and more passionate. Feel free to share yours as well and we can be frustrated together lol The cycle keeps repeating and seeing as there are going to be 48 episodes, I better prepare myself for more arguments to come.but hopefully more cute scenes from these 2 will compensate for that ^^ Thank you for reading my rant as I really needed to share my thoughts somewhere. So it really irritated me when Shancai kept ignoring his feelings when he clearly stated how he felt multiple times!! On the other hand, a pattern I've noticed in the show is that Shancai and DMS would fight in 1 or 2 episodes and then reconcile in the next. Despite DMS's domineering and possessive attitude towards Shancai in the beginning, I could see he slowly toned down when he was around her more often which was endearing. My feelings towards Shancai and DMS's blooming relationships were mixed at first, but after a while I came to find them very adorable to watch. But that is understandable, as I found out that there this show will have a total of 48 episodes!! Man, that's going to be a lot of episodes of endearing couple moments and also probably more frustration from the characters dumb decisions. In fact, I find his portrayal of DMS much more likable and charismatic than Jun Pyo.(don't know how I feel about his dressing though) It also helps that this DMS is extremely attractive! Besides him, Huaze Lei is also very handsome but in a more softer and gentle way?Īs I am about 20 plus episodes in, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the other 2 members of F4 have their own love stories as well. Luckily, I endured and she finally gave in to DMS after like 20 episodes -.- As for the actor who plays DMS, I could tell he was a rookie but he wasn't horrible. Her constant denial of her feelings towards him was bearable in the beginning, but started to irritate me in later episodes. I find the actress who plays Shancai quite good, although I must say her character annoyed the heck out of me after Daoming Si confessed to her. The cast is definitely much younger and inexperience but I warmed up to them after a few episodes in. I thought that the plot would be bland and the acting would turned me off, but to my surprise I became hooked on to the show. When I found out that there was going to be another remake of the iconic Japanese comic, I wasn't very interested to be honest.
